Darjeeling tea

Darjeeling tea is a black tea grown in the Darjeeling region of West Bengal. It is a highly prized tea often called the “champagne of tea”.

Tasting notes: Darjeeling tea is known for its muscatel flavor. It has hints of raisins or grapes, with a hay-like finish.

How to make tea: There’s no wrong way to brew a great cup of tea. Whether using a reusable tea bag, a tea pot, or even a drip coffee maker, the results will be delicious.
The amount of time to steep the tea is a matter of personal preference. The aromatic, fruity, and floral elements usually extract first, while more earthy and astringent elements take longer.

Recommended brewing instructions: Place two teaspoons of tea in a container (or use a tea ball). Pour one cup of boiling water over the tea and let it sit for 3 minutes. Pour the tea into a cup using a strainer or pour off just the liquid leaving the herbs behind.
